This is our brand new body and neck kit based on the fantastic 24.594" Scale single cut, we have carefully scanned and copied an original to make sure the shape & carve are as close as possible. The body and neck are each sanded and fitted together ready for you to glue the neck in and finish yourself. 

Body:

2 Piece Sapele Mahogany Body (With chambers to maximise tone and minimise weight) 

2 Piece Fully carved Canadian Maple Top - either plain maple or book-matched figured maple

Complete with Back Plates

Neck:

Sapele Mahogany Neck

Indian Rosewood or Ebony Board & Headstock Veneer

22 Medium Frets 

12" Radius

24.594" Scale Length

Neck Shapes either:

Standard C:   1st Fret: 21.54mm   12th Fret: 23.15mm   Nut Width: 42.8mm

Vintage C:      1st Fret: 24.2mm     12th Fret: 25.2mm     Nut Width: 42.8mm

Inlays - MOP Dots or MOP Trapezoids or MOP Birds 

 We are in no way affiliated with PRS Guitars, these kits are our interpretation of this style of model. 

The Body and neck are hand-fitted together for exact match and neck angle. 

All holes are pre-drilled. The body & Neck are sanded to 320, ready for finishing. This Kit is great for your own DIY or kit build project

All G&B guitar and bass bodies are made in our UK workshop using both traditional and modern methods of guitar building. Every piece is overseen by the master, luthier Neil Haynes. All of our bodies are sanded to 320 grit, perfect, and ready for finishing.

With over 20 years of experience as a luthier, Neil Haynes started as a master cabinet maker.

Neil's passion for music started at the age of six. A keen musician with an excellent ear, combining his love for wood and woodworking with his passion for music was the logical progression.

Guitar and Bass Build is renowned for the highest quality precision built instruments, using the best quality hardware and timber.

Each piece is carefully checked in all aspects; each one held to incredibly high standards.

All of our bodies, necks and templates are UK made by our skilled team in our U.K workshop!!!

All of our Electric Guitar & Bass bodies are build to the highest quality and are all checked by our Master Luthier before leaving the workshop.

We use safe and secure couriers to make sure your item reaches you in the same tip-top condition that it left our workshop. 

We use express delivery, so you'll get your parts as quickly as possible, and conveniently. You'll be able to track the delivery to know when to expect it. 

Dispatch:

We try to ship all in-stock items from our workshop same-day on orders placed before 12.00 noon. 

For non-stock and bespoke parts, please note the dispatch times listed on the product pages. 

Delivery rates:

Express delivery is free of charge on all Bodies, Necks and Body blanks for UK orders. 

Rates for international orders vary by order and are calculated at checkout, but the following is a guide to our delivery rates:

UK: Bodies, Necks and Body Blanks: Free

UK: Orders comprising only pickups and other small accessories: £4.50 - £7.95

Europe: Bodies, Necks and Body Blanks: from £10

Europe: Pickups and other small accessories: £6.50 - £9.95

USA/Canada: Bodies, Necks and Body Blanks: from £20

USA/Canada: Pickups and other small accessories: £8.50 - £12.95

Returns:

We have a 14 day returns policy. If you need to return an item please fill out the contact form on the returns page, here.

Please note that we cannot accept back returns if you change your mind on any bespoke item. However if an item is faulty we will of course address that with you. 

Q. Where are your bodies and necks made?
All of our bodies, necks, pickups and templates are proudly UK made by our team here in our workshop in Oxfordshire.

Q. Do you post abroad and what are the rates?
Yes, we'll calculate shipping rates at checkout for you, and you can quickly see if we ship to your country, here.

Q.Are all guitar and bass bodies and necks made in house?
Yes, all bodies and necks are made in house by experienced luthiers.

Q. Are we in any way affiliated with Fender?
No we aren't at all.

Q. Do you have a custom service available?
Yes please go to the customised Neck or Body Tab in the main menu and enter your specifications. If you have a requirement that isn't listed, please get in touch and we'll happily put together a bespoke quote for you.

Q. What are your order times for Custom Orders?
We currently have a 30-40 working day lead time on non-lacquered items and 45-60 working days on lacquered items but that depends on the finish. These are estimates and we try our best to get them out quicker than that to you.

Q. Do you have a custom spray shop service?
Yes, we certainly do. Please see the information tab in the main menu for examples of work and prices.
